07/05/2018 – Growth in real household income per capita, which provides a better picture of changes in households’ economic well-being than real GDP growth per capita, picked up in the OECD area to 0.3% in the fourth quarter of 2017 compared with 0.2% in the third quarter but was still slower than real GDP growth per capita (0.5%).

Over the year as whole growth in real household income per capita in the OECD area slowed to 0.7% in 2017 (from 0.8% in 2016), in sharp contrast with growth in GDP per capita, which accelerated to 1.9% in 2017 (up from 1.2% in 2016).
