James O’Keefe is an award winning journalist and writer. He is the founder and President of Project Veritas, a non-profit organization dedicated to investigating corruption, dishonesty, waste and fraud in both public and private institutions. OKeefes unique undercover investigation techniques have generated media firestorms that have prompted federal and state investigations, congressional inquiries, and private legal actions. Recently, OKeefes voter fraud exposs inspired several states to reform their election laws, forced resignations in Washington, and pushed the FBI and Department of Justice officials to defend themselves before lawmakers. OKeefes previous investigations prompted: Congress to defund ACORN, the Planned Parenthood Vice President to be fired, examination of Obamacare navigator fraud in Congressional field hearings, National Public Radio Executives to be fired, Medicaid worker re-trainings in Ohio, the firing of an Enroll America Director, and several states to change their photo ID laws. Slate.com agreed, OKeefe has had more of an impact on the 2012 election than any other journalist!In 2013, OKeefe authored New York Times bestseller, breakthrough: Our Guerilla War to Expose Fraud and Save Democracy, the recounting of his life work and the inside story of the trials and tribulations he faced to bring his powerful new form of guerilla reporting to the forefront. In early 2014, OKeefe uncovered improper election activities by Battleground Texas, prompting an investigation by Texas state prosecutors. In August, he dramatically crossed the border from Mexico into the United States dressed as Osama Bin laden to expose the serious and dangerous weaknesses in our nations security prompting widespread coverage on US News World Report and CNN. In May, he released videos at the Cannes Film Festival, showing Hollywood environmentalists scheming with phony Middle Eastern oil tycoons to stop American energy independence. The videos prompted a senate investigation into the funding sources of NGOs. OKeefe is a graduate of Rutgers University. He founded an independent newspaper in College called The Centurion.
