The Dag Hammarskjöld Library joins the UN community in mourning the loss of former Secretary-General Boutros
Boutros-Ghali, who passed away 16 February 2016 at the age of 93. Mr.
Boutros-Ghali was the United Nations’ sixth Secretary-General, and the first
from Africa. He served from 1 January 1992 to 31 December 1996.
