In the midst of turmoil and climate challenges in Cameroon’s Northwest region, theatre emerges as a beacon of hope. Performing 4Change, dedicated to uplifting young people and families in crisis, presents “Burnt” – a poignant portrayal of resilience.
“Burnt” follows Mambo and Ngong, two women defying odds in a conflict-ridden landscape. Their struggle against climate change echoes the resilience of their community. Through solidarity and empowerment themes, unity shines amidst adversity.
Performing4Change serves as an artistic conduit for capturing the evidence of resilience amidst adversity. Through a blend of storytelling, music, and movement, this initiative communicates the challenges of climate change while showcasing the resilience of individuals and communities in the Northwest Region.
