Crews completed initial test area for fuels and was able to ignite the ridge from both the west and east sides to move into the interior. With 2/10ths of rain Tuesday night, crews are monitoring the area Wednesday and plan on re-ignition Thursday. The total planned acreage to burn is 323, we are currently at 40 acres.
