DURING THE 6:00 HOUR OF 12 NEWS THIS MORNING. RIGHT NOW, SAINT ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH IN GREENDALE IS TRYING TO DRY OUT AFTER A FLOOD DURING HOLY WEEK. LET’S GO AHEAD AND PULL UP SOME VIDEO HERE INSIDE OF THE CHURCH, YOU CAN SEE STANDING WATER COVERING THE CARPET AND THE WATER SO HIGH IT WENT RIGHT UP TO THE EDGES OF THE AISLE RAMP. SO RESTORATION CREW IS NOW ON SITE MAKING REPAIRS AND DRYING SURFACES OUT. THE CHURCH PASTOR, FATHER KEVIN KEVIN MCMANAMON, TELLS 12 NEWS THAT THERE IS GOOD IN THE FLOODS. BAD TIMING. St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greendale is working to clean up after flooding inside the church during Holy Week.The church sent out a letter to parishioners saying the church worship space flooded due to the failure of their sump pumps.Photos posted on the church’s Facebook page show water covering the carpet and standing water that reaches some of the aisle ramps.Restoration crews are working to help dry and repair the flooded areas.The church did make some adjustments to its Holy Week schedule but plans to have Easter Sunday mass back in the church.The updated Holy Week schedule can be found on the church’s website .

St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greendale is working to clean up after flooding inside the church during Holy Week.

The church sent out a letter to parishioners saying the church worship space flooded due to the failure of their sump pumps.
