GS4-E Indigenous peoples, local livelihoods and forests
Forests are our most important terrestrial carbon store and these forests provide livelihood means for about 1 billion people. This week we will learn about how indigenous peoples from eastern Panama use their forest. We will also learn about an initiative that aims to reconcile forest conservation, carbon sequestration and local livelihoods in the Ipet-Ember community. Welcome to our research!
