Ms Mary Barton-Dock, Director of Climate Policy and Finance, The World Bank during the session ‘Accelerating the Transition to a Sustainable Economy’ at the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit Barton-Dock highlighted the need to create incentives and disincentives that lead to a change in the behaviour of both consumers and private companies to be able to transition towards a greener planet of 7 billion people, a number that is growing every minute, is likely to face increased conflicts over scarce resources.
