In South Africa a young entrepreneur’s mission to provide healthy and alternative food in his township has led to the opening of a unique bakery. Espinaca Innovations is a new bakery, in the Khayelitsha Township, on the outskirts, of Cape Town. The bakery is said to be South Africa’s first green bakery. But lowering their carbon footprint is just one of the bakery’s eco-friendly initiatives. They also produce green bread said to be packed with health benefits. CCTV’s Travers Andrews reports.
