The Portable hospital rooms or Mobile Medical Units from Fero contain oxygen, suction, and medical gas lines, in addition to wireless communications for patients or residents to stay in touch with their family and cameras for health professionals to monitor them.
They are fully winterized for tough Canadian weather and were named the Most Innovative Technology Of The Year at the Natural Disaster Show in Miami this year.

Fero International, a Hamilton, Ont.-based company that designs pressurized mobile units aimed at addressing some of the problems the pandemic has caused for hospitals, such as bed shortages and surgical cancellations. Fiorellino says she sees her company as part of the medical solution.
The shipping containers that were once meant for construction projects are now used to see a doctor because of overburdened hospitals.

Sabrina’s combined expertise working with governments, not-for-profits and leading emerging businesses across multiple industries compelled her to establish Fero with a vision to build unique, flexible solutions to meet varying critical care requirements and changing needs worldwide.
